The special part of this backyard was the dramatic slope downhill to the water. This aspect lends itself to lots of design options, incorporating views of both the pool and the water beyond. “With the elevation change, we can get really creative with the pool and the deck. In this case it’s a one-level pool, but the deck is multi-level, so it makes for a really interesting outdoor space,” says Bart O’Connell, CEO of Landmark Pools.
