After the meeting with the Portlances and measuring their space, the designers at Premier Outdoor Living & Design went to work to create the backyard paradise that would give the homeowners everything they were hoping for. They quickly got back to Steve and Dianne with a detailed 3D rendering that displayed all of their recommendations, along with a proposal that gave the estimated budget and expected timeline for completion.

“The result exceeded our expectations,” Steve stated. “Lewis and his team did a phenomenal job. They followed up continuously during the installation and were very responsive to our concerns. Everything was installed in a timely, professional manner, and they kept the project on budget, too. We ended up with an outdoor kitchen and living space that we are proud to share with our friends and family.”

The Portlances are especially thrilled with their new Lynx grill, which has a patented Prosear infrared burner. The instant, intensive heat that the burner provides creates the juiciest, most properly seared steaks they’ve ever made, as the ceramic radiant briquettes emanate perfectly even heat. One of the features that Steve enjoys most is the integrated lighting on his grill. When the sun goes down, the knobs emit a soft blue light, and when he lifts the lid to check on things, the intuitive halogen lighting illuminates the food so that he knows just when it’s ready to serve.

Their gorgeous outdoor kitchen features a rugged stacked stone counter with a rich granite countertop. The large Jack Daniels smoker is featured predominately alongside the warming bin, the Lynx grill with double side burners, and the spacious sink. LED lighting along the top and bottom edges of the counter and plenty of storage cabinets make this kitchen not only functional for the cook, but a treat for the eyes of the guests as well.

The design and placement of their new kitchen, along with their pool and the striking water and fire features, created the inviting outdoor retreat they had dreamed of.
