Just last spring, she had her backyard and dock area remodeled to suit a more “Floridian” lifestyle. What immediately draws your attention is the tiki hut, which keeps the area cool during the summer. Also included are a TV, a light system that illuminates underneath the bar and kitchen, a refrigerator for beverages, a farmhouse sink, a fire pit and most essential: the grill! With a larger counter and more cabinet space, cooking meals and enjoying them is much easier.

Mr. Taylor, an engineer, designed the inspirational oval-shaped stained glass ceiling, while the builders added on a rectangular room complete with a pair of oval, clear leaded glass windows that mirrored the shape of the ceiling’s dome. They contacted Chelsey LeBlanc, talented and experienced designer with Closet Factory in Orlando, who became very excited at the uniqueness and challenges that this closet would provide. She immediately envisioned a cozy seat under each of the windows, perfect for trying on shoes.

Dennis Clegg, Master Carpenter and CEO of C&S Themed Interiors has been a huge part of making this magic happen for over 30 years. Starting out as Clegg and Son, he and his son, Frank, used their skills and talents building sets for movies, television shows, concerts, and dramatic special events, where they learned the importance of providing a meticulously detailed set in an extremely limited time allotment.

Although very rare, thus hard to come by, these pavers do so much more besides elevating the décor of the pool area. Because this marble is much more dense and less porous than its popular cousin, travertine, it is much easier to keep looking sparkling clean. While travertine has a tendency to collect dust as well as mold and mildew in its pores and has to be pressure washed frequently to keep it looking clean, the pearl marble pavers don’t hang onto the grime and moisture that can be a breeding ground for mold and mildew.

Shannon Fisher, Senior Designer for California Closets Tampa Bay, answered that call, and during their collaboration, both designers knew that their meeting was kismet. “We communicate so well together, that we feed off each other’s ideas and take the designs to an even higher level,” Shannon explained.
Ari concurred, “We are able to work together easily to find solutions to what could otherwise be problematic design situations and make certain that we don’t miss any details.”
