Lewis put that passion into the remodel of the mundane patio of the Tinsley’s home, which is located in an exclusive Clearwater neighborhood. Knowing the family desired to use their outdoor space more often for cooking and entertaining, as well as for having a serene place to retreat and unwind after a busy, stressful day, Premier Outdoor came up with the perfect design plan.
To prevent the frequent Florida showers from forcing the family to run indoors, they designed a large area with an Arcadia louvered aluminum convertible pergola. The motorized louvers easily adjust to allow the sunshine to stream in when desired, or to angle enough to provide a cooling ventilation with shade and can also form a solid surface to keep the rain from ruining the party.
Under the pergola, they designed an outdoor kitchen that would please even the most accomplished chef, and the most discerning eye as well. The entire back wall of the outdoor kitchen has a stunning full-height mosaic backsplash. The countertops glisten with the smooth finish of New Venetian Gold granite and are contrasted by the island’s façade of variegated sizes of ProStack ledge stone. To add visibility and drama, both the island and the back counter have LED strip lights that are adjustable in intensity and can be programmed to change colors along with the mood.
Everything and anything that the Tinsleys would enjoy cooking can be made in this kitchen. The Primo ceramic smoker, which uses authentic lump charcoal, gives food an organic natural wood fire flavor. The Lynx 36” professional series grill is complete with a rotisserie, smoker box, dual halogen grill surface lights, and it boasts a lifetime warranty. The 30” Lynx Asado stainless steel griddle is perfect for cooking up Sunday brunch like pancakes, bacon and eggs, and anything else that otherwise could fall through a grate!
On even the hottest summer days, their new Perlick double tap Kegerator will provide the coldest, frostiest beer in town. Their All Pro Stainless refrigerator and ice maker are beautifully designed to be reliable and energy efficient, and the sleek All Pro Stainless doors and drawers will store all their cooking and serving gear and are easy to maintain and built to last.
When the cooking is done, the Tinsleys can relax by their pool, where Premier Outdoor installed an aesthetic fire feature at each corner. The flames can be adjusted down to just give a soft, hypnotic glow, or turned up to create a dramatic show of dancing flames. Adding to the visual impact, they installed the same LED strip lights along the rafters of the screen enclosure that they had installed in the kitchen area. All of these lights are remote controlled so that the brightness and colors can be adjusted for a livelier party, or for a more mellow and romantic mood.
