Flooring from Their Family to Yours

By Ilyne Hayes
David Ansbro, Jr., who started helping his father in their flooring business when he was just 16 years old, is committed to keeping their business a family affair.

His wife, Melissa, is the office manager. His cousin, Justin, is one of the sales and project managers. His oldest son, Tyler, is learning the business from the ground up, and his son, Ryan, helps out in the summer when he’s not in school. Young Nicholas is awaiting his time to participate but is now too busy with his hockey team, although their youngest child, Brooklyn, has already participated by adorably representing her family in their ads!
Because they are a “Mom and Pop” store, Ansbro Aldrich Flooring makes it their top priority to give great personal service to all of their clients. A family owned and operated business since 1949, they do not believe in high-pressure sales. Rather, they take a more laid-back approach with their customers by learning about their lifestyles, tastes and needs. All of their staff, including Mike and Greg, have been in this business for many years, have great knowledge of the various products they represent, and are able to help you find the best flooring solution for your home. They are fully aware that choosing the right flooring can be overwhelming. With their years of experience and extensive product line, they are able to answer any concerns you might have, such as, “How can I enjoy the beauty of ceramic tile without having to deal with all of those hard-to-maintain grout lines?” or, “Can we enjoy the richness and warmth of wood floors without worrying that our dogs will ruin them?” and, “What type of flooring is the easiest to maintain and will last the longest at the most affordable price?”
The Ansbro Aldrich Flooring family is ready to guide you with honest, knowledgeable advice, the latest high quality products, and expert installation. They also pride themselves on staying current on the latest flooring trends and innovations, and knowing what works best in any given situation. For example, David strongly recommends Anderson Tuftex patterned solution-dyed nylon carpeting for those who want the sound-absorption and tactile properties of carpeting, but also want ease of maintenance and high durability at a very affordable price. He will often suggest Cortec waterproof floating vinyl plank for customers who want the look of hardwood but need to consider possible pet or water damage. Cortec offers a lifetime residential warranty and is so durable that it is often used in commercial applications. For those customers who love the cool, clean look of ceramic tile, AA Flooring has a wide array of big, beautiful
24" x 48" tiles, which show far fewer grout lines, and if grout maintenance still sounds like a problem, they will show you the amazing selection of colors from Laticrete Permacolor Select, which is a strong, non-staining grout.
Free estimates and having most floors installed within 10 to 14 days of purchase by qualified installers with years of training is the norm for Ansbro Aldrich Flooring. As David Ansbro, Jr. says, “We try to bring into our business how we run our home, very down to earth. We want to do a great job for our clients so they’ll want to come back and bring their friends.” To see a gallery of options, visit their website at aaflooring.net, and then visit their 3,000sq ft showroom at 718 23rd Ave. W in Bradenton, (941) 747-2904; or their brand new store at 7014 US Highway 301 in Ellenton, (941) 212-4037.
